It was an honor and privilege to host Shane and Mariah’s early July wedding here at SNB. Shane and his family are longtime family friends and part of the Leelanu County community fabric. Shane is a cowboy at heart and a rustic, elegant spot that allowed the new pup to be a part of their wedding was exactly what Mariah had in mind. It was a beautiful day filled with celebration, love, friends and family!
"After a long stretch of high temperatures and extreme humidity in July 2018, our wedding day was the first day in a while that felt more like a comfortable Northern Michigan evening. The perfect weather allowed our guests to spend time outside playing yard games and enjoying the beautiful scenery at Starry Night! The adorable cottages on the property provided the perfect place for us to get ready (and the outdoor shower that overlooked the landscape was pretty cool too!). Because wedding planning was done all on our own, we relied on support from Starry Night and they did not disappoint. They helped ease the stress on one of the most stressful days. They went above and beyond our goal of having a relaxed and comfortable wedding with our friends and family and even our ring bearer, Hank, the Black Lab, who we could not have imagined our wedding without! I will always recommend this venue to new brides and grooms and we are so thankful that we chose Starry Night!"
Shane and Mariah hired Dawn’s Fresh Catering from Ebel’s for a farm-cooked meal for their guests; their photography was done by Zoetic Design, a family friend, Tim Roback Dj’d their wedding and Weddings Your Way officiated their ceremony.
