We maintain the cottages calendar here but we like to coordinate and reserve wedding weekends and extended cottage stays through Starry Night Barn & Studios, so please inquire with us to make those reservations. We can accommodate events up to 299 people.
To book a wedding weekend at Starry Night Barn, please call or e-mail to ensure the dates you’re looking for are available. To make your reservation, you need know the following details about your event:
• Do you want to reserve Friday and Saturday nights in the cottages or Saturday and Sunday?
• Do you want to add additional dates to your stay in the cottages? Please note that we rent out the cottages to other guests when events are not occurring so additional dates should be booked up front to secure your timeframe.
• Will you be having an onsite ceremony or will the ceremony be held elsewhere?
• Your anticipated guest count
Once your event details are decided, we will develop a contract to fit your individual event. We require a 50% nonrefundable deposit of your total event costs and the balance is due 60 days prior to your event. Clients have seven days from the date requesting a written (e-mailed) reservation for a wedding weekend date to submit a signed contract along with a deposit. Deposits can be made via credit card with a 2% processing fee, debit card, check, or money order.
The SNB&S Facilities staff will provide area resources to start the planning process. We’ve got great recommendations for area planners and coordinators along with fabulous vendors to fit your vision. You’ll have a Facilities Manager that will connect you with your day-of-events coordinator as your event approaches so we can hammer out the details and work through any loose ends.
We may request copies of your service contracts (mostly for vendors unfamiliar to us) as you contract with caterers, rental agencies, etc. We want to ensure that all vendors are aware of our venue policies and procedures and can plan accordingly. You can call to set-up times to stop by the Barn and property during your planning process – just call ahead and book a time. We encourage new vendors to do the same.
